Chaigneau – Zero Gravity
Finished December 2009. There is lots of acoustic Guitar in this song all based on a simple G, G/B, Cadd9 progression. In the jazzy fretless bass part (Tilian, Spectrasonics) the chords change to F maj7. My wife sings the backing vocals "oohs". The other vocals are samples from the forgotten voices series from Tonehammer. Have fun with it

Chaigneau – Clouds
Finished june 2009. I worked on it for 3 months of spare free hours. It started slow with a lead guitar and a piano and acoustic guitar as accompaniment. After the intro you hear a forgotten voice and a piece of a poet from Linton Kwesi Johnson. After two couplets and refrains the song canged in a piece with a delayed guitar with a lot of processed voices from myself and Vocaloids prima.. The next part is made with some eastern voices (Otti). When the slide guitar comes in I play a customized guitar solo with camel space.

Chaigneau – Left lobe of the brain
I finished this song in February 2009. It had lots of Omnisphere sounds , The tempo is around 100 bpm, the drums are mainly Toontrack EZ Drums and the Bass is Scarbee. The 2 guitar solos are recorded with my Yamaha electric guitar and modified with guitar Rig. The vocal (chorus) section is mainly my own voice (thank you melodyne) filled up with some Omnispher e vocal presets. Watch the hi-hat in the vocal part. The synthesizer solo section is recorded with midi and edited afterwards. Occasionally I use the M-Tron pro to accomplish a retro feeling

Chaigneau – Journey through styles
Released in December 2008 and the first song recorded with the wonderful Omnisphere, which I use for instance in the first part as lead twang guitar, the other guitar parts are played by myself. The instrumental part after the intro is based heavenly on the mellotron flute. In my opinion the mellotron is one of the most forgotten but wonderful synth`s. The vocal section has an R&B Kore groove, the voices are from my lovely wife and kids filled with samples from voices from the east. I am proud on the electric piano section which cost me a lot of hours to get the famous supertramp jazzy feeling.
